In this class, the physical becomes a training ground for the soul—teaching endurance in hardship, courage in conflict, and the habit of pushing past limits. This is more than a workout; it’s the shaping of young men into strong, godly leaders.

  • TWO PERIOD REQUIREMENT: GRADES 5-8

    Mr. Caleb

In this course, we will first and foremost learn what it means to be a worshipper — outside of an instrument or a microphone, while also improving our musical/vocal ability. Above all talent, ability, or gifting, God looks at the heart. My primary goal throughout the school year is to equip your students with a deep understanding of what it means to worship in Spirit and in Truth [John 4:24]. Together, we will discover both the heart of worship (the most important foundation to build on) and the art of worship (the technical skills involved in leading others).

Every week will look like this:

    • Tuesdays: We will spend time preparing for chapel and developing our musical and vocal abilities during 5th period.

    • Wednesdays: We will lead worship for midday chapel and meet during 5th period for teaching and discipleship. This time will be focused on growing in our understanding and knowledge of worship.

    * Signing up for this class signs your student up for both Tuesday and Wednesday’s 5th periods.
